Fall Festival

Join us October 28 at 5:00 p.m. for a Fall Festival. Fun for all ages!

Food, Games, Festival Booths and more! Kids and adults can wear their costumes for fun! 

Help us fill our food pantry. A canned food item is the cost of attending. Bring a not perishable food item.

Booths and games led by Sunday School Classes and groups. Talk to your class and sign up with Paige Geroy, 268-5896.

 

Acolyte Training

If you have a 3rd grader or higher that would like to serve Searcy First as an Acolyte for our Traditional Service, we have planned a training session for Sept. 10 at 3:30 in the Sanctuary. Please help us spread the news!

Fall Kick-Off 2015

A great time had by all at Searcy First Fall Kick-Off 2015! We had food, music, jump houses, dunk booth and Kona Ice along with kicking off the new fall ministry year! If you haven't signed up for a place to plug in on Wednesday's, call the church office and we can help direct you!

the art of marriage - getting to the heart of God's design

A six week small group study to build and strengthen marriages while developing new small groups.

Shofar Sisters Bible Study

In seven sessions, Seamless covers the people, places and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Participants will gain an overarching understanding of the fundamental layout and meaning of God's Word. Seamless helps replace insecurity that holds participants back with clarity and helping them move forward with confidence in their understanding of Scripture.

One Night

The Sons of Thunder and Daughters of Light will join together for a special event at the White County Fairgrounds on Sunday, September 13th at 5:00 p.m.

Thrift Shop Youth Sale

The youth are planning a Thrift Shop sale on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 8:00 a.m.

Methodism 101

So, what is the deal with all these committees?  What is an Annual Conference?  Who is this John Wesley fellow and why is he so important?  What do we believe as Methodists?  If you have ever asked any of these questions, then we have a course for you!  Methodism 101 will meet for six weeks beginning Wednesday, September 2 at 6:15 pm.

Sunday, August 23rd, 12:15 p.m. is the date our District Superintendent, Reverend Susan Ledbetter, has set for the Church Conference of Searcy FUMC to meet in a called session. Reverend David Orr is appointed by the D.S. to preside at the session. The called session has been requested by our Church Council.
