Treasure

On Sunday, October 30, we will begin a churchwide study and worship emphasis called Treasure: A Stewardship Program on Faith and Money. The study will be based on Jesus’ words, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21).

Adult Discipleship Minister Resigns

My Dear Brother David,

It is with bittersweet feeling that I write this letter to officially inform you that I will be resigning from my position as Adult Discipleship Minister with Searcy First United Methodist Church, effective two weeks from today, October 13, 2016. As I have often stated, I enjoy this ministry opportunity more than any I have ever had and will always be thankful for the opportunity that you, your staff and this congregation have afforded me. What a blessing you have been to my life and service to our God and his people!

Trunk or Treat

Join us, Oct. 30 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. for our Trunk or Treat Event! There will be decorated trunks full of candy and hotdogs, chips and drinks for everyone! Dress up the kids and bring them out. Don't forget to invite your neighbor!

Children's Minister Position Closed

The Staff Parish relations committee of Searcy First United Methodist Church is excepting no more applications for the children's minister position. While we have not made a hire, the committee respectfully announces we are no longer excepting applications. Thank you. And, please keep this hiring process in your prayers.

Youth Tech Night

Our youth will meet after C.H.O.W. Dinner, Wednesday, October 26 in Yancey Hall to assist anyone in their tech questions. Bring your devices and your questions and our kids will do all they can to help out.

Searcy First United Methodist Church has an immediate opening for a full time Minister to Children and Families with Children. This position is full time and salaried.
