CommUnity of Caring

Dear Friends:

It may be no surprise to you that the annual A Day of Caring mission will be quite different in 2020. This year, A Day of Caring will be named CommUnity of Caring to exemplify the pivot happening to align with the current climate and healthcare landscape.

Unity Health is committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve. Due to Covid-19, Unity Health plans to implement an outside drive-thru model for our annual community mission. This years mission will take place on the morning of Saturday, August 1, at a Unity Health Location. More specific location details will be forthcoming.

Unity Health will take abundant measures to keep our staff, volunteers, and the community safe during this mission. All hospital staff and volunteers will wear a mask, and participants should remain in their vehicles while receiving services at the mission. The services offered will be streamlined to include medical, school supplies, groceries, personal care items, and informational resources.

Please join us in our mission to help our friends and neighbors in need by collecting these much-needed items. Clothe face masks, bar soap, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and non-perishable food items.

Items can be dropped off in our church office and we will deliver the donations.
