New Youth Minister Hired!

Searcy First is excited to announce the hiring of Kyle Brown as our new Youth Minister.

Kyle grew up in Searcy, AR with his two older sisters. He went to West Virginia University with the purpose of studying aerospace engineering. During his time at WVU and through his involvement in Campus Crusade for Christ and Mercy PCA Church in Morgantown, God worked in his heart and mind calling him to the Lord and giving him a passion to see others come to know Jesus as their Lord and savior. Kyle began pursuing his calling to ministry through serving as a summer youth intern in his hometown Church, First United Methodist Church, and as a pastoral intern at Mercy PCA while in school. Kyle graduated from WVU with a B.A. in Communication Studies.

Kyle is a sports fanatic! He has only found one sport that completely frustrates him, stupid golf… but enjoys being competitive and playing or watching almost any sport. He loves his WVU Mountaineers and Kansas City Chiefs. Kyle is also a food enthusiast and enjoys cooking for others. And even though he is in Arkansas, he still loves Kansas City BBQ. He will also be eternally grateful to whoever gives him a Coca-Cola.

Kyle is excited to be a part of Searcy First United Methodist Church and for an opportunity to get to know and serve its youth. Kyle is also excited to begin his ministry at Searcy with the 2016 Fall Retreat!
