GOD'S LITTLE BLESSINGS

Preschool & Daycare

God's Little Blessings is a state-licensed and regulated childcare facility. The daycare and preschool are located in the Youth and Children's Building at the corner of Main and Center Streets. The entire first floor of the building is dedicated to God's Little Blessings.

All of our dedicated staff personnel are regularly trained in their associated areas to better help them acclimate to the level necessary to provide the utmost guidance and care to each and every child within our care. Thorough background checks are performed on all personnel when hired.

Our facility is regularly inspected by various agencies to assure that all aspects of the building, contents and play areas meet the stringent guidelines set forth by those agencies.

The waiting list at God's Little Blessings remains long year-round. At this time, we are only adding expecting parents to the daycare waiting list. Our brand new Kindergarten Prep class is enrolling now. Spots are very limited.

We are honored when a family chooses to entrust their children's care to us. We love each child we care for and love watching them grow, learn, and develop.

COVID-19 Guidelines

Due to GLB's state licensure, we must adhere to state regulations regarding COVID-19 policies and procedures. You can find the latest version of these guidelines here.

Daycare

The daycare side of God's Little Blessings is divided into four rooms.

The Infant Room is where children 12 weeks through 12 months receive very personal and loving attention from trained and dedicated staff. The child to caretaker ratio is kept at a very comfortable and personable level, thereby affording each infant a more loving and warm environment.

The Wobbler Room is where children ages one to two years "wobble" through each day experiencing fellowship, love, understanding, playtime (both inside and outside), nap time, lunch and snack times, learning times and most everything required for a youngster of this age to develop mentally and physically in a most positive manner.

The Toddler One Room offers a child 18 months to two & a half years of age a structured classroom environment complete with learning stations, lots of hands-on arts and crafts projects, fellowship time, snacks, naps and indoors/outdoors playtime, all while being in a Christian environment with emphasis on Jesus.

In the Toddler Two Room, the course of learning, fellowship, and mental and physical development is expanded upon as the children reach this golden age of wonderment and exploration. With an emphasis on structured learning time as well as the fundamentals of growth and development, the children experience the necessary learning skills that will prepare them for their journey onto Preschool.

Pre-School

The preschool is divided into three rooms: Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and our brand new Kindergarten Prep class.

Our teachers in have well over 30 years of combined teaching experience at God's Little Blessings. Children enjoy a structured learning enviornment complete with age-appropriate curriculum. Learning-through-playing stations are utilized every day and help teach motor, communication, and team-work skills.

Parents are encouraged to attend yearly conferences with their child's teacher in order to better understand how their child is developing as they prepare for Kindergarten.

Our brand new Kindergarten Prep class will begin in the Fall of 2022. This class will remain small in number to ensure each child receives the best instruction as they prepare to begin Kindergarten. Kindergarten Prep is designed to educate and prepare each child in various academic disciplines including reading, writing, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, and social development. The main focus is to provide a positive, academic learning environment that promotes experimentation and exploration to build higher levels of thinking, language, math, social, and physical motor skills with fun and challenging activities.
